SOUZA, Ana Caroline Ferreira de Carvalho e  and  CORREA, Jane. Story written reproduction and children's orthographic spelling. Psicol. pesq. [online]. 2007, vol.1, n.2, pp. 32-40. ISSN 1982-1247.

The present study aimed to investigate whether written reproduction of a known text would make it easier the orthographic performance of first and second graders of primary Education. Written stories were analysed in two contexts of text production: written reproduction of stories or free style writing. The data was analysed as a function of frequency and type of orthographic transgression made by the children. Although schooling were the factor that most influenced the children, the nature of some orthographic transgressions made by the children showed to be sensitive to context differences.
