Abstract

This article aim to reflect about the importance of the studies of Cognitive Neuropsychology to the construction of theorethical models of information processing in Cognitive Psychology. Through a selection of a few studies that investigate patients with brain injuries that exhibit patterns of deficits and cognitive preservations, we intent to think about the contribution of these studies to the comprehension of those deficits and to the comprehension of normal cognitive functioning.
