Abstract

This article aims to discuss methodological issues in the field of Developmental Psychology taking into account current trends and prospects in this area. Insofar as developmental psychologists face new challenges and this field of study develops, new paradigms emerge and offer theoretical and methodological approaches to professional practice and research of psychologists and professionals of related areas. This text attempts to systematize issues that only appear as dispersed in the Brazilian literature.
