Abstract

CORNIGLIO, Federico. Some Lacanian References to Charlotte Bühler Developmental Psychology (1936-1948). Psicol. pesq. [online]. 2014, vol.8, n.1, pp. 41-52. ISSN 1982-1247.  http://dx.doi.org/10.5327/Z1982-1247201400010005.

This paper explores the references in Jacques Lacan's early work (1936-1948) to developmental psychology of Charlotte Bühler and, particularly her studies on early socialization of children, published in Soziologische Psychologische und Studien über das erste Lebensjahr (1927). This paper specifically aims to: a) conduct a survey of young Lacan references to the work of Charlotte Bühler; b) explore the modes of Lacan's appropriation of such source under the notion of child transitivism and the first Lacanian formulations about the formation of the "I" and the imaginary register; c) the exploration of the ways in which Lacan may have accessed that source.

Keywords : Lacan; Bühler; history of psychoanalysis; developmental psychology; transitivism.
