PERES, Savio Passafaro. The development of the project of a phenomenological psychology in Husserl. Psicol. pesq. [online]. 2014, vol.8, n.2, pp. 221-229. ISSN 1982-1247.  http://dx.doi.org/10.5327/Z1982-1247201400020011.

The relationship between psychology and phenomenology is complex and suffers, along of Edmund Husserl's thought, a number of developments. In the second half of the 1920s, Husserl develops the idea of a phenomenological psychology, which should be distinguished from transcendental phenomenology. Although Husserl has arguably put the transcendental phenomenology in the foreground, phenomenological psychology, once held within certain parameters, has full legitimacy. The purpose of this article is to present, in the light of the development of Husserl's thought, the problems which led him to reflect on the theme of phenomenological psychology.

Palavras-chave : Edmund Husserl; phenomenology; phenomenological psychology; history of psychology.
