NORONHA, Ana Paula Porto; RUEDA, Fabián Javier Marín  and  SANTOS, Acácia Aparecida Angeli dos. Regional differences and the standards of Bender-Gradual Scoring System Test. Psicol. pesq. [online]. 2015, vol.9, n.1, pp. 03-09. ISSN 1982-1247.  http://dx.doi.org/10.5327/Z1982-1247201500010002.

The present research evaluated the performance of samples from four Brazilian states in test Bender-Gradual Scoring System. Participants were 1,148 children, of both genders, ages ranging from 6 to 10 years old (M = 8.09; SD = 1.36), from the states of Minas Gerais (26.0%), Paraiba (18.6%), Piaui (24.0%) and São Paulo (31.4%). Results showed that the differences between states were significant only for nine and 10 years old children. In general score, although São Paulo's children had the best performance and Minas Gerais' the worst, the difference was not significant. Findings are discussed based upon the theory.
