Cyberbullying is an aggressive and intentional act performed by a group or an individual through electronic means. This paper aimed at conducting a bibliometric survey on the topic, based on academic and scientific articles indexed in databases. Articles published between 2008 and 2013 were selected. After applying the exclusion criteria, 63 articles were chosen. The results showed 2012 as the year of increased productivity in this theme, as well as Spain and the United States as the countries with the highest number of publications. The journals with the largest amount of articles were "School Psychology International" and "Computers in Human Behavior". Rosário Ortega-Ruiz, Peter Smith and Sheri Bauman were the most productive authors.

Keywords : violence; cyberbullying; bibliometric review; academic and scientific articles.
