The study aimed to describe actions of Harm Reduction (HR), developed in the street office (SO) in Goiânia, according to reports from professionals and people served. Participants were nine professionals and four users of alcohol and other drugs on the streets. The methodology was qualitative with interview scripts and using content analysis. Categories have been identified from reports of professionals: the focus of SO and HR is not abstinence; SO and HR favor listening and bonding. Regarding users categories were identified: reduced consumption of psichoatives substances; the team supports and advises on HR. The research contributions are directed to the improvement of public policies to the attention of users of psichoatives substances on the streets.
