Student housing fosters social inclusion by providing housing for students who have social and economic vulnerabilities. Nevertheless, the tenants report situations involving prejudice, struggles in living with other people as well as other types of suffering. The aim of is to share a participative research and extension project which goal is to develop actions to promote health in a student housing. The diagnosis of the situation with the help of research instruments occured in the timespan of 2015 and 2016, having the tenants, tecnicians and housing administrators as a part of this process. The strives were to plan actions based on the students”™ needs in order to strengthen collectiveness as a way of protection from vulnerabilities.
