Abstract

This study sought to evaluate the academic satisfaction of college at a public institution and explore any differences between them on grounds of gender, age, area of knowledge and the fact that work and study or just study. Participated 232 students the first year of Biological and Health, Exact, Humanities and Social, and mostly female. The highest scores were observed in ‘satisfação com o curso’. There was a significant difference between the younger students and the middle age in ‘satisfação com a instituição’, between Life and Health and Social and Human in all measures and between those who work and study and only study ‘satisfação com o curso’.
