The use of crack is considered multicausal and the social skills (SSkills) are essential for strengthening the social support (SSupport) network. It was aimed to describe the profile of crack users of a state in the Northeast of Brazil, their SSkills, coping skills (CS), and their perception of SSupport. This is a descriptive and cross-sectional study, conducted with 61 users, under treatment in CAPS-AD-III. The instruments used were: IHS-Del-Prette, IDHEA-AD and EPSUS. The descriptive analysis identified that the user's profile resembles the current literature. Insofar as SSkills, SSupport and CS are concerned, the total score is affected in the same way. The importance of studies on the characteristics of this population is emphasized and elaboration of interventions that promote the repertoire of SSkills.
