CONSTANTINIDIS, Teresinha Cid et al. Production process of crisis care in the Psychosocial Attention Network. Psicol. pesq. [online]. 2021, vol.15, n.2, pp. 1-28. ISSN 1982-1247.  http://dx.doi.org/10.34019/1982-1247.2021.v15.29302.

The objective of this study is to understand the process of producing care in the Psychosocial Attention Network (RAPS) for people in crisis situations. The research was carried out in services that compound the RAPS of four municipalities of the Southeastern Region metropolitan areas. Professionals from CAPS II and III, CAPS alcohol and drugs, CAPS infant and juvenile, short stay unit, first aid and Basic Health Unit participated in the study. For data collection, the focus group was used and data analysis was performed by content analysis. This work evidenced the centrality of the hospital and the direct and protocolar association of the crisis with psychiatric hospitalization. The medical hegemony and the difficulty of the primary care teams in dealing with the mental health issues of the population are points discussed in this study.
