Abstract

COSTA, André Oliveira. Body and fiction: the developments in the ego-other relationship. Contextos Clínic [online]. 2017, vol.10, n.2, pp. 247-256. ISSN 1983-3482.  http://dx.doi.org/10.4013/ctc.2017.102.09.

This work derives from a question about the modes of affectation in the relationship between ego and other in the Freudien theory. The objective is to find ways to suspend the dichotomy that places these terms in opposition to one another. The primordial psychoanalytic theory of Sigmund Freud is taken, where we see that the various forms of fiction are proposed as ways of transposing this dichotomy. Fiction is the construction of a common space between ego and other. It enables the movement of the ego in different positions.

Keywords : fiction; body; fantasying.
