MELO JUNIOR, Walter. Nise da Silveira, Antonin Artaud and Rubens Corrêa: borders of art and mental health. Gerais, Rev. Interinst. Psicol. [online]. 2009, vol.2, n.2, pp. 182-191. ISSN 1983-8220.

The following article deals with the importance of Antonin Artaud's and Rubens Correa's works so that Nise da Silveira could undertake a double modification in the field of mental health: a change in the organization of mental health services and a cultural transformation. The first change takes place through an epistemological cut in relation to a medical pattern, made possible by the introduction of the concept of countless states of (human) being, by Antonin Artaud. The second change takes place from the theatrical presentations developed by Rubens Correa, showing themes related to madness.
