Abstract

The work searched to understand whether the incubators of solidarity enterprises are able to create management tools which are appropriate to the reality of the incubated enterprises. In addition to that, we attempted to identify how their participants conceive the management neutrality discourse. Three incubators were chosen for a qualitative cut. Semi-structured interviews and documental reviews were chosen as data collection techniques. For data analysis the content analysis technique was adopted. It was verified that the incubators share the notion that the management is not neutral. It was also observed that they affirm the need to re-signify the knowledge for the enterprises. However, the re-signification is more related to the creation of products and/or pedagogical methods than to modifications in the management process. Therefore, it was verified that, although the incubators have a potential for the re-signification of the management knowledge, these innovations have not been occurring, and, when they do, it happens in an isolated way.
