Domestic or intra-family violence is a public health issue that affects all populations around the world, regardless of social/cultural/economic level. Children and adolescents can be direct and indirect victims, suffering the consequences in the short/long term. In order to invest in policies to prevent same and in professional's training, it is important to know the national publications about it. The main objective of this revision is to recognize the research that is being carried out in Brazil on domestic/intra-family violence. In this way a bibliometric survey was conducted in different databases, and the most relevant to the field of psychology: Pepsic/Bireme, BVS, Scielo, Dialnet and Claves, between 2001 and 2011, were selected. The key words 'domestic violence' and 'children' in the field 'title words' of each base, were used. Most articles talk about children and adolescents as the direct victims of violence and the family is identified as the main aggressor. Health professionals were the main target of the articles and a qualitative study was the most used
