This article is an experience report of a financial education course that occurs in a federal institution. The students envolved were 23 adolescents in the last year of a technical management course integrated to high school. The duration was 5 months and the participants were submitted to discussions about money use, emotional issues and investments. This article presents a model called 6Ps as an auxiliary decision-making method. The experience allowed researchers to discuss aspects of personal resources management, enhance the knowledge of students at school and present theoretical and practical integration possibilities.
