This research, that was included in a care and resignification program for school complaints implemented by a federal university in Southern Brazil, aims to bring a new meaning to school complaints related to a third grade elementary school class and to contribute for potentiating social relations toward teacher-student and student-student. For that, were used semi-structured interviews and conversations with the teacher, observation in the classroom, and group work activities. The results identified was that the teacher was able to give a new signification to individualizing and pathologizing discourses on school complaints and the students grasped new ways to relate to other students. Therefore, although there are limitations, it was possible to build transforming actions
