SUZUKI, Egypcialinda Camargo  and  POLLI, Gislei Mocelin. Vocational Guidance Programs: models for development of public policies in Brazil. Gerais, Rev. Interinst. Psicol. [online]. 2021, vol.14, n.1, pp. 1-22. ISSN 1983-8220.  http://dx.doi.org/10.36298/gerais202114e16006.

Vocational Guidance Programs (OP) are vitally importance in the lives of young people who complete high school, however, only a portion of students have access to this service. In the absence of laws that regulate OP in public schools in Brazil, this study aimed to identify in the literature articles that present Vocational Guidance Programs that can be used as a contribution to the construction of public policies. To this end, a bibliographic study was conducted and eight articles were selected that presented Vocational Guidance Programs from different approaches. Some characteristics that favored the effectiveness of the proposals were perceived. The work teams consisted of a minimum of two to five researchers. Studies indicate that the insertion of Vocational Guidance Programs throughout High School, including the pre-university entrance exam and Professionalizing Education phase, brings effective results.
