GONCALVES, Naiana Marinho; SANTOS, Ruzia Chaouchar dos; ARAGUSUKU, Henrique Araujo  e  ANDRADE, Daniela Barros da Silva Freire. Narrative and New Forms of Care in Mental Health. Cad. Bras. Saúde Ment. [online]. 2016, vol.8, n.20, pp. 157-180. ISSN 1984-2147.

The study of Narrative as a form of communication that allows the emergence of individual or group subjetive processes has been presented by theorists as Bruner (1997; 2001; 2002) and more recently in dialogue with the Social Representation Theory by Jovchelovitch and Bauer (2002). Such discussions endorse the assumption that announces the language as a tool of consciousness constrution (VIGOTSKI, 2009; 2010a; 2010b). When considering the psychosocial perspective as a reference for work in mental health, this essay aims to investigate the potential of narrative as an intervention instrument capable to raise therapeutic processes in a CAPSI group of adolescents, in the city of Cuiabá-MT. The developed analyzes rely on the dialogue between Historical and Cultural Theory (VIGOTSKI, 2009, 2010a, 2010b; PRESTES, 2010; MOLON, 1999, 2000, 2011; AGUIAR; OZELLA, 2006) and the Social Representation Theory (JODELET, 2001; JOVCHELOVITCH, 2008; MOSCOVICI, 2003; NÓBREGA, 2001). The metodological procedure adopted was inspired by an ethnographic approach when using the participant observation technique (EZPELETA; ROCKWELL, 1986) and later in the proposition of socialaffective workshops in group context. This metodology has privileged the narrative and the ludicity as guiding axes of experiences whereby were produced: drawings, collages, share of favorite music and movies from the participants, and the construction of a collective narrative. The datas were analysed according to a comprehensive perspective in which we focused on the analysis of the emergence of the feeling of belonging to the CAPSI and to the group. The identified relational processes reveal the potential of narrative as a guide-activity.
