Abstract

ROCA-CORTES, Neus. Rev. Psicol., Organ. Trab. [online]. 2001, vol.1, n.1, pp. 107-140. ISSN 1984-6657.

This article analyzes a type of innovation classified as recreational, self-initiated and basic. It studied 22 labor units that are innovating in one of these three phases. Two variables were used: the leve of groupality?? and innovator group qualities. The results characterize the group interaction of each phase and point to changes in group activity according to the psycho-social processes of the innovation. The study proposes a non-prescriptive psycho-social sequential model that describes three aspects of the innovation process: tasks, underlying psycho-social processes, (diffusion, change of attitudes and institutionall consolidation) and the group activity that passes through the innovation process. The implications of the study for further research and applied consulting are suggested
