To manage human behavior implies in managing what people do as organization participants, being that, is just through actions, that is possible to formulate and to achieve organizational objectives. However, there are differences between to control behaviors and to control the variables that interfere on the behavior occurrence. To control variables imply in creating an environment that benefits the necessary ocurrence actions for the consecution of organization objectives. This paper intends to point out some criticai aspects related to what have being done, nowdays, by the organizations in terms of personal management. It is possible to realize the ocurrence of theoretical advances in terms of people management, although, some researches showed that, in practice, there is no incorporation of these advances. To manage people behavior in the organizations through objective formulations that explicit actions in context - specifying the situations in which the actions will be happen and the way how they must happen, as well as the results wanted from them - it seems to be an alternative way to discuss other ways of management
