Physical effect in workers health has been very well documented. However, psychosocial impact in disease development needs further investigation. The purpose of this study was to investigate psychosocial stressors influence in managers health in a state owned bank, considering blood pressure, medicine consumption, body index and symptom report as indicators. Analysis of variance ando canonical correlation showed that higher stress levels are related to higher blood pressure leveis, frequent symptom report and higher medicine consumption. Results showed that there was a dimension linking environment variables lo health indicators. Intervening variables role and changes in manager task's design are discussed
