In the last decades, Junior Companies - civil associations without lucrative intention, constituted by university students that, under specialized professors' supervision, render services for organizations and institutions - are becoming more and more numerous and important. This paper intent to present some considerations about the performance of Humanus, Psychology Junior Company from FCLAs/UNESP (São Paulo State University). In general lines, Humanus has been reaching its objectives satisfactorily, since it has been putting their participants in direct contact with the professional exercise already during the degree course and, by consequence, making possible the practical application of the theoretical knowledge acquired in tha classroom. Furthermore, Humanus has been promoting a better approximation between the university and the community, and contributing, through accessible quality services, to the development of micro and middle-sized companies of the city and its region
