COELHO JUNIOR, Francisco Antonio; ABBAD, Gardênia da Silva  and  TODESCHINI, Kátia Caroline de Lira. Construction and validation of a support to learning measurement scale in a brazilian banking institution. Rev. Psicol., Organ. Trab. [online]. 2005, vol.5, n.2, pp. 167-196. ISSN 1984-6657.

This subject intends to construct and validate an evaluation instrument that supports learning, defined as perceptions of the employees concerning support or restriction factors for natural learning (spontaneous and informal) and induced learning (by training) at work, in ali its phases: acquisition, retention and transference. The scale was applied on a sample of 1,731 participants of a distance training about Prevention of Money Laundering, which was offered on-line for the employees of a Brazilian banking institution. The factorial analysis were conducted and the results have shown only one factor called support to learning, with 33 items, with factors oscillating between -0.30 and 0.89 and alpha of O.96. The support scale is considered trustworthy and valid, allowing the study of issues related to natural and induced learning at work
