Abstract

This article discusses the organizational commitment from a new attitude behavioral scale - the scale of behavioral intention of the commitment toward the organization - EICCO. This scale is based on the behavioral intention. The universe of the research is composed by 124 individuals. The data collection was carried out through questionnaire, 47 of these questionnaires were properly filled out and returned. The intensities related to the individual commitment toward the organization were analyzed and the justification of the decisions made considering the weight of the instrumental and the affectionate basis. The research was carried out in an enterprise in the it field located in Belo Horizonte - MG. The results point out that the employees of the organization studied show high level of commitment
