GUIMARAES JUNIOR, Edward Humberto  e  MACEDO, Kátia Barbosa. The role of the entrepreneur in the formation of social groups: a psychodynamic perspective approach. Rev. Psicol., Organ. Trab. [online]. 2013, vol.13, n.3, pp. 257-264. ISSN 1984-6657.

The purpose of this paper is to present some aspects of readings done on the entrepreneurial individual and the formation of social groups in a clinical approach to the psychodynamics of work, by Dejours (2004). Through several authors, such as Freud, Pagés, Shein, De Vries, and Chanlat, we focus on the group phenomenon, its formation and its functioning. We analyze the impacts of its subjectivity on the organization of work, and consider that entrepreneurs assume a central position in the formation and maintenance of social groups when they influence the social process that exists in working relationships through their leadership style and their vision. As conventionally defined, entrepreneurs are those who create their own businesses and who at the same time go about their work on a daily basis and inevitably externalize their subjectivity on the organization of work. Thus, to understand the relationships and the organization of work, further study in the psychology field is needed, focusing on the entrepreneur, with the theoretical and methodological approach from the clinical psychodynamics of work created by the French psychiatrist Christophe Dejours.
