Abstract

MARIN RUEDA, Fabián Javier. Confirmatory factorial analysis of the Job Satisfaction Scale 25-items and 15 items versions. Rev. Psicol., Organ. Trab. [online]. 2015, vol.15, n.1, pp. 82-88. ISSN 1984-6657.  http://dx.doi.org/10.17652/rpot/2015.1.436.

The aim of this study were to analyze the internal structure of the Job Satisfaction Scale ([JSS]; 25-items and 15-items versions) using the confirmatory factorial analysis (CFA). 633 workers of commercial, industrial, services provision and third sectors organizations, both genders, with ages varying between 20 and 63 years old. The JSS were applied in its original version composed by 25 items, both individually and collectively, in about 20 minutes. The results of the CFA showed that both versions were adjusted to the original proposed model. It was inferred that the use of the short version is viable alternative in organizational environments to a quick and good job satisfaction assessment.
