Behavioral deviations at work (BDW) are workers' individual actions in dissonance with the prescriptive social norms of organizations, representing psychological damage, "hard" losses, or even prosocial objectives. This literature review aimed to organize, describe, and analyze empirical reports, published in Brazilian psychology and management journals, that comprised complete or partial samples of Brazilian workers. Twenty-five articles were identified as BDW, organized in six research phenomena: moral harassment; prejudice/discrimination; corruption/ethics; retaliation; personality characteristics; and workaholics. The empirical articles analyzed showed similar results within the same phenomenon, in addition to using different methodological designs. This trend could be especially identified in papers on moral harassment, which also adopted the same conceptual basis. The need to fill the gaps on BDW that are usually caused either by theoretical fragmentation or lack of methodological diversity in the exploration of the phenomenon is discussed. A research agenda emphasizing greater sample representativeness of Brazilian workers, multi-method research, interventions, and prevention of BDW is proposed.
