Abstract

FAZZANO, Leandro Herkert  and  MANSANO, Sonia Regina Vargas. Affection and knowledge: analyzing some transformation in contemporary work. Rev. Psicol. UNESP [online]. 2013, vol.12, n.1, pp. 25-35. ISSN 1984-9044.

The immaterial work stands out in the contemporary as an activity whose final product is not necessarily characterized as a very tangible one, but as a service, communication, entertainment or culture. For this purpose, subjective dimensions that were once dysfunctional to the universe labor are required, such as cognition, affect and social relations. However, to avail itself of such elements, the worker enters into a constant cycle of affectation, because the separation between work and private life becomes blurred. At the same time, is required to the worker to not express their emotions during their journey of activities, aiming thereby keeping the body in a affective linearity, always ready to accommodate the customers. The effects of this requirement can be found in the proliferation of psychopathology such as panic disorder and stress, thus demonstrating the plight of the worker's body in contemporary.

Keywords : affection; immaterial labor; subjectivity.
