Abstract

KOBORI, Eduardo Toshio. Some considerations on the term Applied Psychoanalysis and the Psychoanalytic Method in the analysis of culture. Rev. Psicol. UNESP [online]. 2013, vol.12, n.2, pp. 73-81. ISSN 1984-9044.

This article intends to elucidate the concept of “Applied Psychoanalysis”, this concept was named by Freud several times in his texts like “Application of Psychoanalysis”, but this nomenclature has never duly developed. However, the creator of Psychoanalysis used the Applied Psychoanalysis with the goal to analyze other areas of human production, besides the clinic whence psychoanalysis has come from. As Freud his successors continuous up his legacy in analyzing others non-clinic areas since the early days of Psychoanalysis until the current days. From others author’s ideas as Jean Laplanche, Fábio Herrmann and Renato Mezan, this paper intends to discuss the concept of Applied Psychoanalysis.

Keywords : Psychoanalysis; Applied Psychoanalysis; Psychoanalysis Methodology.
