This article result of a research developed in the area of Psychology of the Work. The objective is to investigate, of a critical perspective, the sense effects produced along the process social, historical and cultural concerning the theme of the Work and to identify in the registration of statements the ideological values transmitted by the discursive community that enunciates them. The research method is qualitative and it is based in the Analysis of the Speech of French line and the corpus constituted by different discursive goods, as poetry, music letter, cartoon and proverbs. The results indicate the predominance of the instrumental discursive formation, in other words, the work as economical source and of survival. It is ended that the sense of the work reaffirms linked ideological values to the capital.
