Abstract

BANDEIRA, Noemi  and  SOUZA, Gabriela Neves Paula de. Construindo histórias, narrando vidasBuilding stories, telling about life. Rev. Psicol. UNESP [online]. 2015, vol.14, n.1, pp. 01-09. ISSN 1984-9044.

This paper intends to discuss use of art to produce health care of users in a Psychosocial Care Center. This study presents a reflection about the experience of building stories as a strategy for listening to these users. The theoretical framework was: Freud and Lacan's psychoanalysis and the assumptions of Psychosocial Care Attention. The use of art proved to be an important strategy, mainly for the possibility of making emerge through the creative process a reference, a threshold for the enjoyment of the Other, and a font to create a discourse capable of social bond. We conclude that the process of artistic creation is a significant ally for the Psychiatric Reform Movement in Brazil.

Keywords : mental health; psychoanalysis; psychiatric reform; psychosocial attention; art.
