Abstract

VERISSIMOI, Danilo Saretta. The excess of appearance in the phenomenology of perception. Rev. Psicol. UNESP [online]. 2015, vol.14, n.2, pp. 21-27. ISSN 1984-9044.

We intend to discuss the latency that characterizes perception in the phenomenological tradition. We mainly intend to highlight the foundations of the central role the motor and affective dimensions of the sensitive experience gain in the phenomenology of perception. The guiding wire of our positions is Husserl’s theory of perceptive donation. To highlight the new traits phenomenology grants to the perception problem, we start the text with a critical assessment of the theme perception in the philosophical and psychological tradition.
