AMORIM, Anaísa Ribeiro  and  PEREIRA, Eliane Regina. Childhood: Sayings and Experiences. Rev. Psicol. UNESP [online]. 2016, vol.15, n.1, pp. 82-95. ISSN 1984-9044.

This research aims to present reflections on contemporary childhood, from the interface between the cultural-historical perspective and clippings of four groups of conversation, held in a waiting room of an Elementary Health Unity in Uberlândia. These events took place weekly, lasting one hour and thirty minutes, in which users were invited to talk about some topic. Those groups analysed as their theme childhood. Through the contact and analysis of reports substantiated the theory, it was possible to think about dynamics of relationships between adults and children, the impact of media and technology on its constitution, the importance and fullness of playing, the reverberations in adults to reflect and (re) live some feelings of their own childhood, as well as the multiple ways in which childhood is presented to us. The challenges of thinking and speaking of childhood is linked directly to the complexity and diversity of manners of experiencing childhood.
