Abstract

This article reports an experience of psychological listening support to the aging process using as reference a senior woman's case who spontaneously looked for assistance at the Social Assistance Referral Center (CRAS). The report is going to use Gilles Deleuze's concept of "Happening" and Simone de Beauvoir's concept of "Old Age" in order to reframe what emerges from the woman's history to underline underling the points of difference and the ones of production of subjectivity. In conclusion, the paper stands the necessity to contain in the psychologist's work the compulsive automatism that goes from listening to referral without the outstanding record of what is said in the midst of chaotic encounters with the demands for services.
