This review aims to present and criticize the second and revised edition of the book Methodology for Research in Sciences: Quantitative and Qualitative Analysis, by Makilim Nunes Baptista and Dinael Corrêa de Campos, published by LTC in 2016. It is a Manual of Research Methodology that intends to approach in a practical and oriented way the various stages of a scientific research work, from its basic procedural aspects to the presentation of the diversity of quantitative and qualitative methodological approaches of analysis. It consists of a general manual, although it is more characterized for application in the fields of health and education and with a bias towards the area of psychology, which is the training area of the organizers.
