Abstract

This article intends to show a predominant medical approach in the practices of Care and Attention to Health in the Contemporary Clinic. DSM Psychiatry, allied to the Pharmaceutical Industry and Psychotropic Medicines, have presented a way of looking at psychic suffering of what a subject, his historical context and his knowledge about what he does. The medical discourse has transformed the symptoms into disorders and disorders, betting on policies for a body that remains, therefore, reduced to its organic vision.
