Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) is the principal cause of death between children and adolescents. In general, the trauma represents a serious public health problem in any country and has an ascendant tendency with different causes that depend on the age of the occurrence. The neuropsychological features that appear after a TBI are multiple; some of them could affect the present and later performance of children. The aim of the present study is to analyze the functional state of neuropsychological factors after suffering a traumatic brain injury in 26 children between 5 and 7 years old. The children received medical diagnostic of TCE. All children were evaluated by"Neuropsychological assessment for children Puebla-Sevilla". The results suggest neuropsycological syndromes that depends of the localization of the injury more than the severity of the injury. The discussion contains these findings in terms of neuropsycological syndromes and their possibles effects on the performance.
