Social and Health Sciences have always been doing related work. Usually the analysis and intervention on human health phenomena have been addressed from the dualistic (health/disease) or inclusive perspectives. Historically health sciences and its scientific development were separated from the social sciences, but in the twentieth century this two disciplines joined forces again working to complement each other.
