This article presents the results obtained in the documental research State of the art: Models of psychosocial intervention in disaster situations by natural phenomenon, published in Latin-America and Spain between 2000 and 2011,whose interest was to collect publications that have been made in the context of reference to find trends, contradictions and gaps in the current study on this subject. In the first part the methodological processes of the research are described; the second part presents the most relevant results in three emerging categories: Conceptualization, Methodologies and techniques of psychosocial intervention in disasters by natural phenomenon. Finally, the conclusions derived from the results are presented.
