In Almeria, Spain, sex work is performed mainly by foreign migrant women, in different contexts and scenarios of prostitution, which spend their lives under poor housing conditions and poor access to health and social services in the province. In addition to facing an activity highly stigmatized by society. This article is the result of an ethnographic study in which the main objective was to determine and carry out an analysis of how gender systems and health models are articulated through the process of health and disease in the exercise of prostitution and its effects on the bio-psycho-social health of foreign migrant women and social integration.
