Abstract

This paper clarifies the different psychological aspects that are expressed around the growing obesity phenomenon, comorbidity and impact of psychopathology associated to the life quality of the obese adult. From a qualitative approach, a systematic revision of scientific literature of multiple sources in internet was done, favoring the data obtain in governmental institutions and world-wide universities and, papers published in the last four years. The obesity is a morbid condition that has affected a vast majority of countries all over the world and it is significantly associated with high risk of psychological comorbidity and worsening quality of life.
