Abstract

Reflecting on aspects of Contemporaneity as representatives of a new order of life within its fluid dimension which unfolds a dynamization of subjectivity and society, becomes a challenging effort in seeking to understand the modern man. Moreover, it requires a (re) evaluation of the concept of health to obtain healthier practices. In this context, it is fundamental the questioning of the role of psychology to the suitability of new practices of psychological help to meet social demand. The Psychological Emergency Attendance arises as a potent psychological service for the challenges of the twenty-first century, especially the ones raised from the Person Centered Approach. An example of this kind of psychological attention is presented
