Abstract

CURY, Bruno de Morais  and  SALOMON, Vivaldi Victor Moreira. A view humanistic of perversion. Rev. NUFEN [online]. 2011, vol.3, n.1, pp. 154-162. ISSN 2175-2591.

This paper aims to contribute to the understanding of how the perversion, designated as structure by the Classical Psychiatry and the Psychoanalysis, is observed in the Humanist Theory of the Centered-Person Approach, as proposed by Carl Rogers, and relate it with nowadays media news. To achieve this purpose, we strongly consider speaking of the actualizing tendency, one of the pillars of this theory, in addition to the favorable conditions that people had no longer been received throughout their lives. We also question on how could possibly be the work a psychotherapy with these approaches involved. In order to seek for the integration of what each of these approaches has to contribute to Psychology, and also to bring down misconceptions, we thought it would be important to look for support and partnership with the Psychoanalytic Theory.

Keywords : Perversion; Centered-Person Approach; Psychotherapy.
