The Psychological Emergency is a psychological kind of assistance available to meet the person at the time of its emergence. In this sense, the psychological emergency in the University Hospital Bettina Ferro de Souza was a research service and extension willing to meet the paraense community demand as well as assisting in the production and deepening scientific theory on this service kind, in the Brazil northern region , enabling yet, dialogue and integration between the community, teaching and research, promoting the training of human resources, beyond the professional competence psychology for education, research and the Amazon region development.
