This article is a brief note about the theory and practice of the gay lifestyle and discusses, in particular, the interface between the themes of aging and male homosexuality. In this respect, it is important to note that this text is included, even at that horizon that intertwines the diverse sexualities or differing sexualities and masculinities in a plural sense and hypermodern. Thus, the assignment of the subject of aging - understood as a process confined to human existence - with regard to the analysis and interpretation about the way of life of gay men, is, in itself, quite wide and therefore not take into account, at least directly, the experiences of lesbian women and their understanding of old age, which would require, for a specific observation, the perspectives of each group, respecting its singularities.
