This essay seeks to make a brief review of the construction of the panorama Brazilian psychology, particularly clinical psychology, to date, shedding light on new praxis "psis" in the context of contemporary clinic. Search also discuss how they are formed and how the relationship of this practice with the Brazilian public policy, specifically, the social welfare policies, from the experience of clinical care, made possible by psychological duty service, as offered by the Clinic School of the Federal University of Pará, more concerned with the social and historical reality of the public served, so as not psychologize demand, dialoguing with other sciences and professions that go through these scenarios.
