The present article aims to reflect the use of qualitative research methodology in work clinics, more specifically the use of psychodynamics of work of Christophe Dejours and adaptations in studies conducted in Brazil. In this sense, seeks to clarify the main concepts of the theory and its articulation with practice to understand subjectivity and pleasure-suffering of the subject in the workplace, as well as its implications for the dynamics of social relations. Dialogues with authors who study the methodology of the psychodynamic of work and follows with the presentation of three studies that used this theory as a reference.
