Abstract

ZORZI, Fabiana De; BLOC, Lucas  and  BORIS, Georges Daniel Janja Bloc. The body in expression in erectil edysfunction: the contributions of Merleau-Ponty e Tatossian. Rev. NUFEN [online]. 2015, vol.7, n.1, pp. 48-66. ISSN 2175-2591.

This article aims to discuss the body that is expressed in erectility's function (ED) through the contributions Maurice Merleau-Ponty and phenomenological psychopathology from Arthur Tatossian. With the phenomenology, we conceived the experience of ED as a lived-body experience that occurs always in relation to the other. From Tatossian, we make a distinction between symptom and phenomenon, contemplating that which present sit self as a symptom, the "failure" itself, and that which's lived, and we use the distinction between body-object and body-subject as inspiration to understand the experience of ED. With these contributions, the ED become sunder stood as expressiveness, with its own tonicity, intensity and intentionality. These contributions allow us to break away from the dichotomy movement of understanding of the body and constitute as important tools to understand the expressive content of erectile dysfunction.
